It was the mid 80's when I had my first sight of light, though it wasn't until the next century when I got around to realizing the thrill of capturing that light I saw. That's when I discovered black and white 35mm film photography via my high school photography class. If you're familiar with old-school darkrooms, the class had one of those metal circular rotating light tight doors, reminiscent of something you might find in a haunted house. It was classic. Anyway, that class is what sparked my interest in photography and helped me to see how amazing a single photograph really can be. How it can capture a moment of time, and emotion, and light and saves it, forever, for us to get to see over and over. With digital photography and the endless amount of photos out there these days I think a lot of us tend to forget about how wondrous photography is. Through my photos, I hope to continue to exemplify the love I have for natural light and am able to portray to everyone the beauty that exists within all things.
